Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Security Engineer to join our team at iConnect IT Business Solutions. In this remote position, you will be responsible for managing and securing our network infrastructure, with a focus on Cisco ISE NAC, Fortigate firewalls, and Checkpoint firewalls.
Responsibilities
- Network Security Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our network security infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain robust security policies and procedures.
- Monitor network security events and respond to incidents promptly.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Cisco ISE NAC Administration:
- Configure and manage Cisco ISE NAC to enforce network access control policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ISE-related issues.
- Implement and maintain network access control policies and procedures.
- Firewall Management:
- Configure and manage Fortigate and Checkpoint firewalls to secure network traffic.
- Implement firewall rules and policies to protect against threats.
- Monitor firewall logs and alerts to identify potential security breaches.
- Troubleshoot and resolve firewall-related issues.
- Network Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and performance issues.
- Utilize network monitoring tools to identify and address potential problems.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Extensive experience with Cisco ISE NAC, Fortigate firewalls, and Checkpoint firewalls.
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, IPsec, VPN, etc.).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.) is a plus.
